Laura Domenis

Born in Turin in 1997, she began the study of the violin at the age of 9 under the guidance of B. Autret and the following year she was admitted to the "Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi" in Turin. Three years later she undertook the study of viola with Maestro Mauro Righini, then with Maestro Enrico Massimino and finally obtained her diploma in 2020 under the guidance of Maestro Gabriele Croci.

 

In 2021, she obtained the 24 CFA teaching qualification at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Turin.

 

She has taken part in numerous masterclasses with important musicians such as Ula Uljiona, Simonide Braconi, Francesco Manara, Christophe Giovaninetti and with Gianandrea Noseda.

 

She has an intense concert activity with numerous orchestras performing in various theatres for events such as: the Christmas concert at the Auditorium Rai Arturo Toscanini live on RAI, the spring concert for Fiat at the Auditorium Agnelli, Mito settembre musica at the Conservatorio di G. Verdi in Milan and Turin, musical evenings and 'I mercoledì del Conservatorio' at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Turin, the 'Festival delle Orchestre giovanili' in Tortona, the concert for Rotary International conducted by Umberto Clerici and the concert 'Incontri con i grandi interpreti' with Francesco Manara.

 

She performed with the United Soloist Orchestra at the peace concert in Lugano, with the KCO Chamber orchestra, with the Monferrato Classic Orchestra at the Teatro civico in Vercelli and Tortona, with the Accademia Neotes at the Palazzo Verbania in Luino, with the Lugano Chamber Orchestra in Ascona for the Festival Musicarte and with the Camerata Ducale and soloist Guido Rimonda for the inauguration of the Viotti Festival.

 

In chamber music ensembles and quartet, she took part in the Musical Evenings of the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Turin, in the Mozart Nacht und Tag at the Palazzo Reale in Turin, in the Santa Pelagia concerts, in the Film Festival at the Teatro San Giuseppe, in concerts for the Lions Club, in the festival for 'Como city of music' and with the Rosen Quartet for the 'Giovane musica Svizzera' festival in Bellinzona.

 

She collaborated with composers including Andrea Ravizza recording the anthem "Torino Capitale Europea dello Sport 2015" with the orchestra of the Conservatorio G. Verdi, Umberto Fantini and Gabriele Croci performing two pieces for viola ensemble.

 

In 2018, she recorded the piece for trio "La notte delle Lumere" by Carlo Maria Barracano dedicated to and published by the Preludio publishing house in Milan, as well as performing unreleased pieces with the Kairos Ensemble.

 

She recently took part in concerts with the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana at the Teatro Lac in Lugano under the direction of Maestros Christoph Konig, Diego Fasolis, Enrico Dindo, John Neschling and in the closing concert of the XXIII season of "900 presente" at the Auditorio Stelio Molo, RSI in Lugano conducted by Arturo Tamayo.

 

She is currently attending the Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana under the guidance of Maestro Danilo Rossi.
