Clementina Valente

Clementina Françoise Elsa Valente, born in 1998 in Nice, France, began the study of the violin at the age of five, at the Suzuki Centre of Asti. At the age of ten she was admitted to the Conservatorio Statale di Musica 'Antonio Vivaldi' in Alessandria where, on 10 July 2017, she graduated under the guidance of Maestro Marcello Bianchi.

 

In 2021 she obtained the Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in the class of Maestro Alessandro Moccia, and in 2022, also at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Orchestral Studies.

 

In 2016 she obtained the Diploma di Maturità Scientifica at the Liceo Scientifico Statale 'Francesco Vercelli' in Asti, with a score of 96/100.

 

In 2021 she was eligible for the audition for tutti violin at the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears (Spain) and in 2022 at the Orquestra Gulbenkian in Lisbon (Portugal).

 

She took part in many masterclasses, with Roberto Ranfaldi, as part of the Professione orchestra 2018 project of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, with the Quartetto di Cremona, Marco Rizzi, Christophe Coin, Ilya Grubert, Mario Peris Salom, the Lorenzo Perosi Ensemble, Maria Caterina Carlini, Davide Alogna.

 

She has collaborated with numerous professional orchestras, such as the Filarmonica del Teatro Regio di Torino, the Orchestra della Svizzera Italianaas a student of the Conservatorio, the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears, the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, the Contrametric Ensemble and youth orchestras, such as the Orchestra Talenti Musicali della Fondazione TRT.

 

She studied at the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo in Dora Schwarzberg's class and at the Accademia Perosi in Biella with Roberto Ranfaldi. She has also attended, since 2018, the orchestral training course "Obiettivo Orchestra" held by the first parts of the Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro Regio at the Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale in Saluzzo, qualifying for the final audition of the course in 2020.

 

She received the G. and D. Ivaldi scholarship by the Municipality of Alessandria for the best string instrumentalists of the "Vivaldi" in 2017 and in the same year she took part in a violin kermesse involving the four best Piedmontese graduates in violin, organised by the Orchestra Giovanile del Piemonte.

 

In 2016 she obtained a three-year diploma at the Accademia di Musica Sacra Antica di San Rocco in Alessandria under the guidance of Marcello Bianchi and Daniela Demicheli in the section of ensemble music and orchestral training for harpsichord and string instruments.
